The previously announced Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle revealed its first ultra teaser trailer at Anime Japan 2025. Five of the main cast were at the anime’s stage event: Shogo Sakata, Manaka Iwami, Ikumi Hasegawa, Chika Anzai, and Rumi Okubo.

Yuji Tokuno is directing the series at studio feel. Naruhisa Arakawa is writing the series composition and the script with Hiromu. Sumie Kinoshita is on character designs. The main cast includes:
- Shogo Sakata as Saku Chitose
- Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi
- Hina Youmiya as Yua Uchida
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase
- Rumi Okubo as Haru Aomi
- Chika Anzai as Asuka Nishino
Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle anime is based on a light novel series written by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz. Shogakukan published the first volume under its Gagaga Bunko imprint in June 2019. A manga adaptation with Bobcat’s illustrations began in Square Enix’s Manga Up! in April 2020. Yen Press is licensing the light novel in English and they describe the first volume as follows:
