A new trailer (with English subtitles) for the previously announced There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… anime was unveiled along with a character visual on Friday. Additionally, two voice cast members have been revealed: Kana Ichinose as Satsuki Koto and Takako Tanaka as Kaho Koyanagi. The series is slated to premiere in July 2025.
In the trailer, protagonist Renako Amaori, who is troubled by her own personality, meets Mai Oduka and sees her emotions waver. Ajisai Sena, Satsuki Koto, and Kaho Koyanagi also appear, giving viewers a glimpse into the vibrant school life of these five unique individuals.

Since I read the original story and auditioned for the role, I felt that I could naturally and easily get into the character of Kaho, and I thought it would be fun to play the role, so I am very grateful for the opportunity to be entrusted with this role! I am trying my best to express her mascot-like appearance and make the audience love her even more. It seems that the main character, Rena-chin, has an irresistible charm (?) that attracts people. There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… anime is based light novel written by Teren Mikami with illustrations provided by Eku Takeshima (Whisper Me a Love Song). The light novel was published under Shueisha’s Dash X Bunko label in February 2020 and a manga adaptation with art by Musshu was launched in Shueisha’s Dash X Comic section of the Niconico Seiga website in May 2020.
Synopsis:

The main character, Renako Amaori, who had a lonely time in junior high school, makes her debut in high school and meets her classmate, school superstar Mai Oduka.
