Senpai Is an Otokonoko sequel movie has revealed a special trailer featuring the theme song by Kujira (WhaleDontSleep). The movie was announced right after the TV anime’s finale in September 2024, and it began showing in Japanese theaters on February 14 (Valentine’s Day). Studio Project No. 9 returned to animate.
The theme song by Kujira is titled “Otona ni Narenai,” and it accompanies footage from the movie in the special trailer.

The main staff from the TV anime also returned for the Senpai Is an Otokonoko movie. It was directed by Nobunaga Yagi, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita and character design by Shoto Shinkai.
The Senpai Is an Otokonoko anime is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Pom. It was digitally published through Line Manga from 2019 to 2021. Ichijinsha acquired the title in 2021 and published it in print over 10 volumes. Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing the story:
